FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What happens if it is raining?
A: All activities continue whatever the weather so please come prepared.

Q: How much is the equipment hire charge?
A: There is no extra charge for equipment hire.

Q: Do you cater for people with disabilities?
A: We have a number of instructors who are specially trained in looking after people with disabilities. Please contact our bookings office to discuss your needs.

Q: What should I wear?
A: All activities are outside so please dress for the weather. We would not recommend you wear your ski clothing. For all activates you will need long sleeves, long trousers and gloves. For skiing and snowboarding trousers should be loose fitting and a pair of knee length socks will make the boots more comfortable. Children aged 6 or under will need a hard hat and all juniors 16 and under will require a hard hat when Donutting.

Q: Can I practice ski at any time?
A: Please see the practice section of our web site for times. All times are for the main slope, for practice on our nursery slope please contact reception as these areas are often not available due to lessons.

Q: Are there any age limits?
A: Children aged 4 and over can learn to ski and Donut, and 9 and over for Snowboarding. Some of our sessions are age specific but there is no upper limit on any of our activities.

Q: Are your instructors qualified?
A: Yes all instructors hold qualifications recognised by the governing body as well as receiving regular training.

Q: Can I make a provisional booking?
A: We will only accept provisional bookings for school, Youth and company groups all other bookings need to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Q: Are the donut sessions supervised?
A: Yes all sessions are supervised by our trained staff.

Q: Can we buy food at the Centre?
A: Our bar and catering is available at weekends only at present however hot drinks and snacks are available from our vending machines at all times. During the winter months the bar will also be available on selected weekday evenings.

Q: Do you hire out equipment for taking abroad?
A: No, unfortunately we are unable to rent out equipment for taking on holidays.
