General regulations
- Gloves long sleeves and full-length trousers must be worn at all times when
skiing/snowboarding/Donuting. Children under the age of seven must wear a
hard hat.
Minimum standard for recreational use is:
Skiing
Controlled linked turns and the ability to use the ski lift.
Snowboarding
Controlled side slipping on both the toe and heel edge
& ability to use the ski tow.
- All recreational users will be asked to sign a registration form stating that
they meet these minimum standards. Juniors under the age of 16 must have this
form signed by a Parent or Guardian. No exceptions will be made. A recreational
pass will then be issued which must be shown on each subsequent visit. Passes
are non-transferable.
- Prices for all tuition and practice include all necessary equipment.
- Junior rates apply up to and including the age of 16. Thereafter, adult rates apply.
- Customers use the facilities at the Alpine Snowsports Centre entirely at their own risk. The management accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents or damage to personal equipment.
- The Alpine Snowsports Centre cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or theft from any part of the premises or site. Items left in lockers supplied or in any part of the centre are left entirely at the risk of the owner of those items.
- Instruction is only permissible by qualified personnel authorised by the Alpine Snowsports Centre.
- All skiers and snowboarders must obey the saftey rules displayed at various points around the site.
- The Alpine Snowsport Centre reserves the right to refuse admission or to terminate a persons use of the facility without refund or explanation.
Guaranteed to ski courses:
The Guarantee applies only to session 4. Should
you fail to reach the required level during sessions 1 - 3 please contact
our bookings office who will be happy to advise you on the options
available. Should you fail to reach the required level at the end of session
4 you may repeat session 4 as many times as it takes to achieve the required
level free of charge. The Guaranteed to ski sessions are only run during our
winter months, all sessions must be completed by the end of April 2007.
Guaranteed to snowboard courses:
The Guarantee applies only to session 3.
